Put the trust back

I am beginning to trust our medical system in the Philippines.

Last night was the most horrible and excruciatingly long night I've ever had. I experienced a really bad stomachache and tell you, it was really painful. I haven't experienced it before and fortunately the nearest hospital is just to blocks away...whew!

I annoyingly woke my parents up at two in the morning because the pain won't go away. I started to puke and the next thing i know, i was in the middle of my parents' bed rolling over because I can't lay straight...

So, my parents decided to take me to the hospital. So at 3 am, we went to the hospital..

We went straight to the emergency room which was empty except for the two nurses chatting. The next thing i knew, I was who being checked by the nurses and the doctor...They weighed me, took my BP and my temperature...I had a funny feeling though because it was my first time to be taken to a hospital ever...

I was not feeling nauseous or what, but my stomach was just crying in pain!

Anyway, they asked me to go to bed but still I can't lie down. So i just took a seat...Until I saw one of the nurses preparing a syringe...And then she went to me and gave me the painful shot!
Wow, I haven't remember how it first felt when i had a shot when i was younger...I must have been really brave when i was a baby...

But the most amazing thing happened...After giving me the shot, i felt the pain starting to go away...as in really it was gone!

Yey! I was waiting for my mother to come back and when she did they asked me if i was ok...and i said i was..and they started to laugh...hahaha

and then we went home...

And so that was the end of a really long struggle...so Kudos to the people of Mindanao Medical Center who took care of me really early this morning!

Ha! Our medical system is not that bad after all...so let's be thankful for that!

Blog entry #0

I watched the two reruns of American idol..the first one was the via satellite and the other was the primetime telecast...

I thought David A was outrageously boring and the other David was totally hoooot!! haha

I hope Cookie wins the title. He truly is a great performer. In fairness to Archie, his voice makes me fall asleep...hehehe

I went to my new dentist today and got my front tooth fixed.Yey! I have a complete set of teeth now!

I am starting to hate PBB...the show's atrociously nonsense...(just my opinion)...Or i guess because i have other channels to choose from during primetime now i'm back home watching cable tv...haha

Two days ago, two people were shocked to find out that I exist. True. The first one was my new dentist, and the other one was the people who used to live next door...They thought that my parents only have three sons...me...doesn't exist..Weird..

So here's how my day goes now...

I wake up between eight or nine in the morning...

I watch tv while eating and having coffee..

Then copyread the news of the day..which I send to the DJ of the day for our news program for 89.9 Blue Knights Fm in Davao...(I still do my presidential duties even when i'm home..)

Then check my mails...check multiply..

Then more tv and surfing the net...then take a bath..cook lunch..siesta...clean the house..watch tv...surf the net..watch more tv and sleep...eat in between...what a slacker!

Well...I got to rest...and what i mean by resting are these!

Happy Summer!

crazy early morning dialogue with ayi, jebo and shai

(This was inspired by Rani's yagit dialogues entry)

Ayi: (referring to me) Cuz, you look you chicks today...Yesterday you looked like a nine-year old boy with a backpack...

Shai (unintentionally eavesdropped): Cute man...

Jebo (sumali lang sa usapan): Dili ui! Kay babae man si Pre!!!

Haha..Yesterday I wore a pair of slightly-flared jeans with my blue-hooded shirt and a blue sweater...Since it was very cold in the HUm div, we were all wrapped in our jackets and stuff..Today, i was wearing our really cute summer prod shirt designed by Ayi with my black skinny jeans...Yesterday, I slept in Toffer's house to polish our dokyu..so i was really yagit because I did not take a bath..Hahahaha

Almost senior!

Summer classes officially end today!

Mine ended with the viewing of our documentary short films which were all made out of research, hardwork, patience and everything else...

I am happy and contented with everything that turned out this summer...the idea of spending it in school is not a bad idea after all...Although it was tiring and stressful, it was worth it. I re-learned the value of leadership and relationship with people around you. I realized that people are not as bad as I thought they were and not as good as I thought they were..haha And peers are really helpful because you got to learn a lot from them!!! And always...say thank you and be polite to everyone!

Now I am back home to rest and catch up with all the shows I miss on TV and back for being a slacker again..that is four two weeks until the new semester begins when I turn into a graduating student...a senior...an upperclass"woman"!!!

Yayks!

xoxo

Dreams mean work...

Right...

I was just scanning my coelho book (By the River Peidra I sat down and Wept) and this was the last sentence written on it...

I was just moved by it...It gave me a pang..

Yes... it made sense...

Big time!
